Michael Mendelson
Michael Mendelson has been an active member of Portland's theatre community for 17 years.Michael is a member of the Artists Repertory Theatre Acting Ensemble, a Private Coach and Acting Teacher and Director. In addition to his work at Artists Repertory Theatre Michael has also appeared locally at The Public Playhouse, Miracle Theatre Group, Tygres Heart Shakespeare Co., Portland Center Stage, Oregon Shakespeare Festival/Portland among others. In New York Michael appeared with Revolving Shakespeare Co., Theatre Ten Ten, Lincoln Center/Clark Studio Theatre, Genesius Guild and The Barrow Group. Michael's regional credits include Paper Mill Playhouse, Saint Michael's Playhouse, Penobscot Theatre Company and Arkansas Repertory Theatre, First Stage Milwaukee, Idaho Rep., and both the Utah and Berkeley Shakespeare Festivals. Michael received a BFA from Wayne State University, an MFA from University of Washington Professional Actors Training Program, and is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association. With his extensive theatre experience Michael contributes increased visibility, recognition and patron awareness of the Portland Area Theatre Alliance while his commitment to PATA increases its reputation and therefore its effectiveness and capacity as an organization. |
