Michelle Kopper Seymour, Secretary
Michelle is the owner of Vanport Square Studio where she offers ongoing performance classes
and space rentals for performers. She is also a professional actress and singer, recording
artist, songwriter and producer. She is a member of both SAG (Screen Actors Guild) and AEA
(Actors Equity Association).Michelle returned to Portland in 2004 after 16 years performing and teaching in New York City and joined the board of directors of PATA in autumn 2007. Michelle's Portland credits include roles with The New Rose Theatre, Portland Repertory Theatre, Artists Repertory Theatre and Readers Theatre Rep. Her New York credits include the Beckett Theatre and Playwrights Horizons on Theatre Row as well as many national TV commercials. Additionally, Michelle performed with her band through out NYC. In New York, Michelle both studied and taught at Elynn Diamond Studio in Carnegie Hall as well as offering her own classes out of Theatre Row Studios. With her commitment to seeing Portland Area Theatre continue to grow and thrive, Michelle brings her professional understanding of the industry, entrepreneurial experience and business perspective to the PATA board. |
